Giselle is mainly active as a substitute in symphony orchestras and opera theaters. Giselle has been substituting in professional orchestras in the netherlands and was a scholarship holder in the academy of the Berliner Staatskapelle. Since 2009 Giselle subtitutes regularly in many professional orchestras and opera theaters in Germany among others NDR Radiophilharmonie, Hamburger Symphoniker, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin.
Besides an orchestra harpist Giselle also performs as a soloist and chambermusician. In 2009 Giselle performed the solo harp concerto by Alberto Ginastera with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in Taiwan. In Berlin she gave many chambermusic concerts where she performed pieces by Fauré, Saint-Saens, Roussel, Debussy and Ravel. Giselle also regularly performs works for choir and harp by Janacek, Beckschäfer, Saint-Saens, Bernstein, Britten and Rutter.
Giselle is also a harp teacher. She gives private lessons and teaches at the music school in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Among her students are competition prize winners and a few of her former students were accepted in the Conservatories in the Netherlands and in Germany. Giselle gives lessons to all kind of students, beginners, advanced, children and adults.
